Total Tip released in June 2013 is a Targeted Uniform Bulk Heating technology, by which the outcome can be noticed right after treatment, and lasts longer even after treatment compared to other tips.

How long the effect last?

In general, if you want a longer treatment effect and clearly improved outcomes, it is recommended to have another treatment in 6 months. If you want maintenance andimprovement of the outcomes, we recommend you to have treatment once a year.

    • Any cautions or preparations before Thermage treatment?
      Since Thermage is a non-invasive and non-incisional treatment, you don’t have to prepare or worry about anything. However, since it is not good to come to the clinic with the skin becoming sensitive, we recommend having enough sleep the night before treatment. In addition, since it is possible to have makeup and facewashing right after treatment, you can bring your cosmetics.
    • How long does it take for treatment?
      You will wait about 30~60 min after applying anesthetic ointment until it exert its activity before/Thermage treatment, and it will take about 40~60 min for main Thermage treatment. Although it varies depending on treatment area, you can estimate a total of about 1.5~2hours.
    • When will I see the effect first?
      About 70% of patients first see effects within 2~6 months, and about 30% of patients see lifting results within 1 month. Sometimes, there could be an immediate effect after treatment. The reason why results vary depending on individual is because the time to reproduce collagen is different depending on each individual.
    • How is the feeling during New Thermage CPT treatment?
      When the tip surface contacts the skin, patient would feel heat along with vibration. At the same time, a continuous cooling protects the skin, and vibration make your Thermage treatment more comfortable without pain.
    • How about pain during the treatment?
      While treated without applying anesthetic ointment in the US, if you are worried about pain, you can apply anesthetic ointment for about 1 h before treatment. Since there are very little or no pains during treatment, you don’t have to worry about pain.
    • What is the covering range of Thermage treatment?
      It is mostly applied to the face and the nect, and also possible for other parts of the body. Treatment around the eyes suppresses drooping eyes and causes lifting in the corresponding area, so that it could create a better impression on your face. In addition, treatment of nasolabial folds on the face could tighten overall skin, and could improve falling cheeks or nasolabial folds. In addition, it can be applied to sagging areas in the back of hands, kness, and abdomen.
    • When do I need additional new Thermage CPT treatment?
      In general, if you want a longer treatment effect and clearly improved outcomes, it is recommended to have another treatment in 6 months. If you want maintenance and improvement of the outcomes, we recommend you to have treatment once a year.
